so it was great to hear from mom and dad this week! I will continue to pray for Mike to continue to progress! he needs to understand that with the closer he becomes to the Savior, the more opposition he is going to face! Satan literally tries EVERYTHING he can do to stop God's children from progressing. If he understand this principle, he will know that anything that is preventing him from fulfilling his commitment with God is from Satan. So we had 4 investigators at church this Sunday. Nilza is the one that is progressing very well! she came to church for the first time and loved it! We are hoping to baptize her this next Sunday! haha another investigator, fernando, has been coming to church for about 6 months now with his daughter and WE GOT AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM!! whoo hoo!

This week the WORLD CUP starts here in Brazil! it will be a little crazy here! It will be interesting to see what will happen! so Elder Miller has been having some tough weeks this past week! he had swine flu 2 weeks ago and last week he had a stomach virus. ha But today he is good so I am really excited to work really hard again! It has been driving me a little crazy that I haven't been able to work, but it is great that the Lord is teaching me patience. This week in principles of the gospel, we talked about gifts of the spirit. I am so grateful for the gift to know that Christ truly is our Savior! The Holy Ghost has continually testified of this fact, and It is the only thing that has brought peace and happiness that I have needed! I hope that we may all search the that gift which is more precious than any other!
